Last Report from the Last LGET
What an exciting time of the year we are at. It is a time where goals are reached and plans achieved. It is really great to see our members and Clubs getting the recognition they have worked hard for. Of course if our member’s goals and needs are met then the other goes hand in hand. It is really important though to make sure that all the information is lodged on the Toastmasters site.

You will notice from the title of my report that I mentioned I will be the last LGET – Lieutenant Governor Education and Training because from the 1st July there will be new titles. This is also a time for change in your Clubs too as you will also have had your elections and elected your Club Executive for the next term. It is very important that you go on to the Toastmasters International website and lodge this under Club Central. Remember to choose future and the term from 01/07/2015. This needs to be done before the end of June or you will not be able to access your Club’s Club Central.
This is also a time for reflection of the highlights of the past year. For me there have been many as no doubt there will have been for all of you. I have gained so much from this year in my role ,enhancing and adding to my leadership skills. What great opportunities we are given in Toastmasters and I am very grateful for all of those I have been given and all the members I have met. Each and every one of you have added colour to my life, thank you.
For the first time in quite a while our District is heading towards achieving Distinguished District recognition. How proud you should all feel. It is by all of us working together we have gotten this far. We are not quite there though but I know that we will get there with all of us working hard to achieve this so that this District gets the recognition that its members so richly deserve that of Distinguished District.
